    I have two grandsons aged 7 and 10 who live in their Original Stormy Kromer Caps all winter. They live in Colorado and proudly tell anyone who asks where they got their great hats!! Thanks for making a product that is well made and warm but also "super cool".

    I had earlier slammed the Original saying it had no ear flaps. I am so sorry, and that is not true. They do pull down over the ears. Hooray ~~ Happy to hear you got the earflaps to work for you! SK~~

    Very disappointed in the fact there are NO EAR FLAPS ! For the price, Ear Flaps would be nice. ~~Our Original Cap does have earflaps (as do a majority of our caps). The earflap is the part that is tied with the string at the front. In order to deploy the earflap, insert your thumb between the earflap and crown of the cap and pull down. No need to untie the front or flop the earband over...just pull. There is a video available on the Original Cap web page that shows how they work.     Huge fan of this hat, I had a similar one years ago and when I went in search of a new one I came across Stormy Kromer which apparently invented this style of hat. So glad I decided to go with this brand and will certainly be purchasing again, probably will go for the Rancher next time for a step warmer even.
