The earth is 71 percent water. And here's the deal: all that water goes up and down, up and down. In other words, we live in a wet world, and while umbrellas work wonders, waxed cotton is the original repellant. Our customers wear this three-season cap year-round, from Zimbabwe to Maryland to Oregon's Columbia River. And from each locale: five stars.
To get your size, measure comfortably around your head where your cap will sit, with a tape measure. Take that number in inches, divide by 3.14 (pi) and round up to the nearest eighth. This is your cap size. See the chart for size conversions. You can also print out our hat sizer, click here.
Great hat but I wish there was a little less material on top. I have a smaller head so it looks a little high on top.
This is my third Stormy, so I was no stranger to the craftsmanship, fit and finish of their caps. Even still I was surprised by how perfectly comfortable it was the day I got it. I've never owned a hat that required so little break-in and was immediately my go-to.
This is a fitted hat with no ventilation, so it runs on the warm side and probably won't be my first choice in the summer but it is not uncomfortably warm, either. This will be my first choice cover in spring, autumn, and in rain.
This is the 5th cap i have purchased from you and have 100% happy with everyone!
Great American made product. Nice fit and quality construction you would expect form an American company. I will buy with blaze orange for hunting.
Fits like a glove, this is my second hunting hat and I love it.
I have two of these now. One in orange and one in green. They are warm and will keep the rain or snow from soaking in and making your head cold. be forewarned that this is waxed cotton and it does not breathe. If you are participating in anything that may be strenuous and you sweat, your head will look like you just got out of a pool. This is NOT a bad thing since the hat is doing what it is supposed to. As with all SK products it is a high quality product that will last a lifetime.
Just purchased Kromers 4 & 5 in my “collection” as a bald fellow you need one for every occasion.
My tenth Kromer. My first one is over 25 years old!
Great cap and fits perfectly. It's usable under "most" conditions. I'd recommend a thin fleece liner for the flaps, though, as the waxed cotton on the flaps just gets cold and doesn't help the ears much.
They say that when you own a Stormy Kromer, no other cap will ever satisfy your taste for comfort or quality. And we believe that’s true too, so we offer what other clothing manufacturers might consider a little crazy. Learn more here.
