After talking to Krystal at Stormy Kromer we purchased this for our grandson. He LOVES it and calls it his "zoo hat" because he usually wears it to the local zoo. Both he and his grandpa have SK hats and are often seen wearing them in the winter! Wonderful hat and amazing workmanship!

My grandfather always wore a classic Stormy Kromer working on the family farm through harsh Minnesota winters. Now I own one. Doesn't fully cover my ears, but great hat for cold climates. Love it!!

Looked at the calendar and see that Fall is around the corner, have at least 7 wool and one canvas. As the hair thins the need for a good hat is essential. Time to get them out of the closet. My sons and 4 grandson's all have the red plaid, great for pictures. Always leave one in each vehicle, never know what mother nature will throw at you.Like to read the reviews and I agree with all the positive. Something I never see mentioned the ear band will also protect your hearing aides, when the snow and rain begins to fall. Just another great function of a great hat.

When I got my latest hat, I was bummed that it fit much tighter than my others I have in the same size. But Customer Service suggested I spritz it with water inside and out, and then stretch it over a bowl or something. Also said to leave it out of direct sunlight when drying. I tried it and now it fits even better than my others! So I did the same thing to my others and now I'm the happiest SK camper you've ever known! SK4LIFE!
