Made in America and SHOWS it !!!Bought one for my daughter's boyfriend at Christmas and sneaked a look at it before I gave it to him. I knew I needed one immediately just from the quality of construction.Mine came quickly (great service to boot) and it fit and felt like a million bucks. Wear it every day in the North Shore area of Lake Superior and it performs magnificently. Thanks for a great product and for staying the course of the American Dream! -Tom

Of course I like the fact that it's made in the USA and particularly in Michigan; the quality of the hat is excellent. I love coming home from work and being able to toss the hat on a hat hook, makes me feel like Jimmy Stewart in an old movie. Took a week or so to figure out how to fully optimize the flaps, thinking they were more for show. Not so, they keep the ears warm, and most importantly, the whole get-up looks fantastic. I plan to wear this hat for many years to come, and I think it will age quite well. I just got one for my dad in Traverse City.Thank you. -Ewen McEwen

Just got my 2nd Stormy Kromer for Christmas. I have been outside a lot building a new pole barn, and it is the only hat that doesn't blow off and keeps my bald head and ears warm to boot.I like that it is built here in Michigan. Great hat and workmanship. My only problem now is which one to buy next. Thank you all. -Gary

Just got my partridge plaid for Christmas. I love it. I had to send one back because of the fit, but with out issues, I received my new one and it fits great. I wear it everyday and get many compliments. Thanks for an Awesome product, made in the USA. Do wish you used domestic materials though, but that doesn't keep me from talking you all up. Thanks again, dpg -Indiana Roadscab

At work, play or while hunting my Stormy Kromer wool caps have never failed to keep my bald head protected from the elements. As a landscaper I am working four seasons a year so when the fall starts to creep its way into Pennsylvania I break out the Kromer cap . I wear them exclusively till the spring thaw. Not to mention its the only cap I choose to wear while hunting the northwoods. Need I say they are the best cap for the money and they hold up extremely well to harsh environments. -chunky monkey

This original wool Stormy was my first Kromer. This hat is so comfortable, warm and great looking to boot. I was hooked immediately! Bought a few colors and a few other styles. Can't say enough good things and they are made in the U.S.A. and in Michigan too. Don't hesitate to get yourself one. They are as essential as long underwear in a Michigan winter. -Audiojunky

Stormy Kromer, there is something about that name, today I ordered a Rancher in black. A departed friend bought me my 1st cap a few years back for Christmas, he told everyone I was the best friend he ever had. Back in October of 08 the two of us posed for a photograph and we both were wearing our Red and black plaid Stormy Kromer wool caps. Three months later, he was gone. I did his memorial service for the family and friends later in 09. We met deer hunting and some of the most cherished moments in our lives were spent together camping and hunting. After the cap was given to me as a Christmas gift, I gave him an original oil painting I did of a 10 point buck standing in the early morning sun. Working for a University in West Georgia, I have had so many people ask about the cap. Many have given me the name of Elmer Fudd, many of my family members as well. There is hardly a day goes by that someone doesn't ask me about the cap. I tell them where to find them on the website and just how much I love the hat and the sentimental value it has on me. No matter who they are, young, old, female, male many people see the hat and want to know about it and where they can get one too. I hope to be one of your best salesmen in the West Georgia area. I will always support your company and the values you hold for Stormy Kromer along with the preservation of MADE IN THE USA;, the quality you build into your products is second to none. Hopefully you will be in business for over a hundred more years. -horsefly

My daughter gave me this hat as a Christmas gift. She took her best shot at the size, 7&1/4 and when I put it on Christmas morning it fit great! She took a chance on this purchase and I love it. I've been looking for a winter hat for a long time and I couldn't find anything I liked. I have a bald head and I can't start to tell you how warm & comfortable this hat is. I registered my hat. I'm a fan! -Daniel

This is my 2nd SK. My first is a Rancher model and was super happy with it. I bought a red/black plaid Original SK to go with a vintage wool hunting coat I found. I tried the regular SK for the first time a couple days ago on a snowy hike in the woods. It was breezy and somewhere around 15-18 degrees. I was skeptical of how well this thinner hat would keep me warm, but I was really impressed. It worked great. I probably would have been sweating in the Rancher hat at this temp, but the Original Kromer was perfect for this temp range. My son was wearing his new Original Kromer he received for Christmas and he also noted how well it worked, better than any stocking cap! -Bald guy in the midwest
