The Mackinaw Cap

I have several other Kromer caps. Love them all. Like this the best

I've owned various original and waxed Kromer hats through the years. This is my first Mackinaw cap. Definitely a marked difference in the weight, fabric and warmth. A solid cap. Wish I had gotten one sooner. Expect to order more in the future.

The cap is well made, and fits nicely. I had to loosen the band to get it to go over my ears. I have a big head lol. The quality is really nice, and I will do future business with them.

Great Cap - a timeless classic! Quality materials and workmanship. Fit is true to size. VERY comfortable - the hat doesn't become tighter with prolonged wear nor does the wool scratch my forehead and ears the way most beanies do. It seems very warm - can't wait to test it out this winter and on a spring trip to Alaska. I suspect this cap will last my lifetime and then be enjoyed by my son or grandson. I'm so grateful that the cap is still made in the USA at Stormy Kromer's Michigan factory. I''m proud and honored to support this small company and their American craftsmen/craftswomen. A great value, considering the price, for a USA made product. You can't go wrong with this hat! A tip of the cap to Stormy Kramer!

Great hat, not sure I can tell the difference in the weight or warmth of a Mackinaw vs a classic. Only difference is a few more color choices, just not sure it's worth the added price.

Same as regular cap only with 100% wool. As always, the best winter cap available!

This is my new favorite Stormy Kromer. I had been looking to replace a black Mackinaw that i've had for a good 45 years, but they're not currently being built. This is the one that came closest to what I had, and I have to say that I am very pleased with it. I can't yet throw the black cap away yet, but I'm happy to move forward with this one. The classics never go out of style. Thanks for staying the course. Stormy would be proud.

My newest Mackinaw Cap is the red-black plaid. It is a little heavier than the "Original" cap. It is warmer, too. I already have the Olive Mackinaw cap. I live in Michigan, and it's not uncommon to have folks comment "Nice cap"! I'm in Stormy Kromer Heaven!!!
