I recently purchased my third waxed cotton vest so it's fair to say I'm a fan. My newest is a clean version of my first, which is still wearing well but is definitely now an everyday, working vest. The new one will be for nicer occasions! Only one objection on the two newer vests I've purchased over the last year - I don't care for bright red Kromer patch on the front. I like the subdued logo on the back, but not the patch. I remove those.

Well made rugged vest. I have two of them, I ware one every day to work. I am 5ft 8in 210lb the XL fits me perfect. I also have several Filson vests if anyone wants to purchase one they are for sale. ~~ Happy to hear you are enjoying our vests much more than the other guys! SK ~~

The medium size vest is a good fit for a 150# 5’-9” adult male. Seem very durable and well made. While I’m very satisfied with this product, I’d like to see slightly deeper front pockets and a left side inside pocket.

Good product. Buttons look cool, but are hard to use, in combination with the stiff fabric, because they are too thin. Consequently, they hurt your fingers when buttoning and unbuttoning the vest. ~~The buttons should get easier to use over time, just a bit tight when you first start buttoning the vest. SK ~~

I was looking to up my game and find a vest that would be high quality, and made in the USA. I wanted a nice look. Fell comfortable layering or alone. And be waterproof. I did alot of research and reading reviews on this vest. I own Carhartts and Filsons, and had never heard of Stormy Kromer. The company has a mission I can support. The product looked nice. Has some strong reviews also. I called customer service and got some solid sizing advice too. So my wife surprised me on Christmas morning with this thing. It is everything I had hoped and expected from a made in USA product! I'm a Stormy Kromer fan! This thing is bullet proof! ~~ Thank you for your glowing review! Welcome to the Stormy Kromer family! SK~~

I was very impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship that went into making this vest. It fit perfectly, and I felt immediately comfortable, solid wearing it. I know this vest will serve me well for years and years to come.

I have the previous generation un-lined vest. I love this vest (I wear it nearly every day) with the exception that the arm holes were too tight (fixed this by cutting the seams open). This new version vest, with lining, has a number of issues that have caused me to return it for a refund: 1) Seams around the arm holes (lack thereof). Unlike their previous generation vest, this vest has no seams around the arm holes. This causes the waxed canvas to roll under and over the top of the inner lining. 2) Stitching. The stitching is not the same color as the vest, causing it to stand out. Not the look that appeals to me. 3) Label. A bright label is snugly sewn into the front of the vest. I'm not sure that I could remove this label without destroying the stitching. Like the off color seam stitching, this label is too loud for my taste. I want to like this vest, but it is a bit disappointment. ~~ Sorry to hear the vest wasn't what you expected. The lined and unlined vests do have slightly different construction. The unlined vest is hemmed around the all edges to keep the fabric from fraying, but the lined one doesn't need the extra hem because the edges of the waxed cotton and flannel are sewn together then turned right-side-out to create a clean edge - raw edges are on the inside. Thanks for giving us your feedback. SK ~~

I first purchased a wool version of this vest that I wear throughout the winter and it is stylish and offers a layer of warmth. The waxed cotton version is also wonderful. I love the waxed version of this vest and will wear throughout the summer to make a style statement. My wife thinks I buy too many goods from Kromer but the fact is I love everything about this company. And I look fabulous...
