The Ironwood Vest

I’m 6’2” - 235lb old hockey player in decent condition. This vest fits like a glove. Great quality. (It’s my 2nd from SK) ??

Excellent quality and comfortable.Love the color it blends nicely with the tree line also bought the hat to match the vest. It’s still quite warm still here, but the cold weather is right around the corner and I’m pretty sure the vest will keep me warm. The vest fits me well not too tight over a fleece sweatshirt. I had the vest on last week when it was in the mid 30’s cold rain and snow my upper body was toasty only my arms were a little cold. I’m looking to buy the Compass Shirt Jack to wear under the vest to keep me even warmer in January and February.

Purchased the Ironwood vest in a large because my other Komer vests were larges. This one runs extremely tight in the middle , I wear a 36” waist and I can’t even zip it. Very disappointed in the slim sizing. Now I have to pay again to ship it back. Won’t buy Stormy Komer again, unless I can try it on. ~ Hi Tom, We're sorry your vest didn't work out. Beautiful vest. Ordered XXL tall and it was huge. Returned for XL tall which was skin tight. This vest appears to run slightly smaller than the mackinaw button vest. I have the mackinaw vest in XXL tall and a t-shirt, heavy flannel shirt and wool bibs, it's still not binding with rom to move around and bend over. This Ironwood vest is an XL tall and is very tight with just a t-shirt on. I would've sent it back for an exchange but my nephew fell in love with it. Since the SK store in Ironwood, MI is only 4hrs away, I think it's time I went there for a proper fitting. I would recommend this vest and all of Stormy Kromer products.

Great quality and well crafted. Sized smaller than normal. Had to exchange for larger size. Ordering and shipping was very rapid.

I plan on wearing this very nice vest for many years; but i won’t be surprised if the zipper bites the dust soon. I’m keeping anyway, I like it so much.
