Some things to note: it has a significantly higher or roomier dome (crown?) to the hat. Different from the normal Stormy Kromer hot, you need to pull this one down over your ears to have it hit down on your head like the other hat. The other point you should know about is the fold down ear band. Because of how far down it comes, its bottom edge sits low along the back of your neck. If you turn your head to look up, it pushes to front of the hat down on your forehead.

I'm going to like this hat. Temps were in the twenties, and just standing around outside watching the dog my head started warming up. It's going to be too much when it's in the 40's, but riding the tractor pushing snow, this cap is going to be "it". Probably the best quality headgear I've ever had. I'm glad I decided to spoil myself.

Thinsulate insulation a plus! I adjusted my hat size up an eighth and enjoy that fit. Looks great, feels great, makes me feel great!

This is an excellent cold weather hat. It is warm, comfortable, and well made. It should hold up well.

Superb Quality. Warm. As advertised. Great color. Product sizing imo runs small...order the next size up from your true size.

I've worn these hats for over forty years. There simply is no other. 36 years on a railroad, dog sleding, wood cutting what ever winter business you do this is the hat. I have 5 of them now. All seasons covered.

Very warm and comfortable but the flap doesn't sit snug on my ears, allowing cold air in on windy days. I don't have this issue with my wax rancher. Maybe I should have got the Mackinaw Rancher instead. Idk but I was disappointed but I still love my SKs!

This cap is very well made and very warm. Excellent to have in the cold Wisconsin north.
