this has to be the worst hat for ear flaps! It's warm for the head i"ll say that. The cap is about 4 years old and the ear flaps start to roll up and do no good at all. I whore my new rancher "in blaze orange " on my hunting trip in North Eastern Alberta last November. Harsh hunting conditions, two separate days in snow blizzards with high winds. The days it wasn't blowing and snowing,it was clear and very cold. I said in another review that this hat felt light and comfortable on my head and it is,.I was quite amazed how well this hat stayed firmly planted on my head in the high winds. While sitting in my blind for several hours a day,my head and ears stayed warm and comfortable. What a great hat! Thanks Stormy Kromer. Can't wait for my new mackinaw vest arrive.

Bought 6 kromers for Christmas present, some are cattlemen, one a PGE linemen, another in electrical contract work, all that received one work outside no matter the weather. All were a hit! Thanks for a great product

Excellent as always, I would recommend getting 1/8" larger than your cowboy hat size, if you know it.
