The Rancher Cap

I was really excited to find a SK Rancher in our last visit to Marquette. I walk our dogs 2 times per day no matter what the weather. I must say however the hat is just an O.K. The flaps let in wind around the ears. It will do since I dropped $45.00 on it but in cold weather, my Sirius fleece hat will come out. -dnc

I have had carhartt hat before and i did not like the earflaps on it.Used to wear a cowboy hat with earflaps that went into the sweatband. Ill be really curious to see if it keeps me as warm as my cowboy hat and the earflaps stay put.Wearing it as type this love it so far. -feedlotcboy

We had our first measurable snowfall here in North Dakota today and everybody is walking around all cold like. As I walked into the grocery store a guy walks out with some generic cap and all I can think of is: You poor sap. You could be wearing a Stormy Kromer Rancher! My old Kromer finally wore out and I replaced it with a Rancher. Great hat and very warm. Some more color options would be nice.... Another home-run hat, made in the USA--------Thanks SK!! -Carl- Montana

I had never seen a SK before this past Christmas, when a co-worker give me one as a gift. WOW. I absolutely love these hats... comfortable and warm. My wife then bought me one for my birthday and another for Valentines day, bringing my total to 3 hats. My latest was the red and black ranchers hat... this hat is awesome, fits like a glove and is nice and warm.Some reviews have stated the hat may be too warm for everyday use, but I haven't found that to be the case. I wear my hair short, like a crew cut, so I really appreciate the extra warmth. We live in the Northwest where it rains a lot and these hats are just the ticket to fighting off the cold damp air. I'm now a Stormy Kromer customer for life.Also love that the hats are made here in the US. Thanks for doing your part to help our economy and keep our citizens working. -MAC

As a Canadian living just north of Winnipeg, Manitoba, we encounter some of the fiercest winter weather imaginable. Severe weather patterns, and -38 temperatures, make my Stormy Kromer Rancher Cap a welcome addition in helping fight the elements. Just purchased my first rancher kromer. I think it is almost perfect, needs better engineering on the ear flaps. They aren't snug enough. Although before the next deer season I will have to have a blaze orange rancher. Thanks SK -jbbooks
