The hat fits perfectly, is light and should keep me warm and safe. The hat is stylish and comfortable. I ordered mine on size larger than needed because everything tends to shrink. I don't know if this cap will but it will still fit me well in cold weather.
Not my first Stormy Cromer but the drop down flap that covers the ears and back of neck is what prompted me to buy the Rancher. Only have had for a couple of weeks but I really like it.

I have been wearing a rancher for 10 years or more. The best hat there is for working outside in the winter here in Minnesota. It’s enough for down to 0 degrees. Below that I add a large knitt hat over top. As My duties are switchmen/brakemen in a freight yard there is no weather I am not out in so dressing properly is essential. I can’t praise them enough!
Very nice hat. Great quality. Very fast shipping. Using the size calculator really helps,I order my cowboy hat size and it’s a little tight, the size calculator was probably what I needed. I will order more hats from Stormy Kramer, they are great! Wish they would make more colors available in the rancher style.
Nice and warm. Covers ears and back of head adequately. Fits just right. Using the measurement method they listed gave me the size I needed. Will be wearing it while fishing on lakes in cold weather.
Very warm hat, pull the flaps down on those cool days, insulated, very stylish and comfortable. My next hat will be the trapper for those cold windy days on the ice or when river fishing.
I got this for my brother. Sister in law said he wouldn't take it off even though his head got hot in the house.
As others have noted, order one size larger than measured fit. The cap is warm and comfortable.
