I bought this hat to use for archery hunting. In Northern Wisconsin the fall can be cold and windy. This cap has been the one Ihave needed for years. It is very versatile and great for still hunting. Excellent quality and very reasonably priced.

A bit of a higher crown but it's to be expected as it's insulated. I have not worn it a bunch yet, but comfortable as usual. Will know more when ice fishing arrives.

I was expecting this cap to fit like my original stormy kromer cap from 7 years ago (but with a longer earband) and it simply does not. I have not worn a new original cap but it sure seems like the crown shape has changed or something. It was simply unwearable. I had to return it. Looks like my collection will remain at one. ~~ Sorry to hear your cap didn't fit as expected. The big difference between the Original and the Rancher is the warm insulation - it may cause the cap to fit/feel different than the Original cap. SK ~~

How refreshing, American made. Quality and fit are just right and the style is old school. This hat is warm and soft on a bald head, so guys buy one!

I have had the regular Stormy cap for years and love it also. Needed a little extra ear protection for ice fishing up here in Northern Maine. Fit is great and comfortable.

Evacuated from home by forest fire and Mail Service had a heck of a time finding us. Crystal must have chased the Shipping Records across the country and back. Crystal found my hat and got it to me asap! Took a side-by-side ride to top of 10,400' peak , about 30 ° before wind chill. Definitely noticed the difference in staying warm with the Rancher Cap. Great fit , ear flaps worked great , cap stayed on while driving and kept warm. Highly recommend. ~~ So happy to hear you got your cap and it's working great for you! SK ~~
