Not going to lie, it’s a little gaudy for trying to make a fashion statement . But I bought it for work and it gives me the extra coverage I was looking for!! I’ll be buying another rancher in orange next ! ~~ Sometimes we need substance over style - especially in the frigid tundra! Thanks for loving the hat. SK ~~

I had the original stormy and thought it was ok I just got mine 30 minutes ago and it’s amazing with bigger flaps that cover your ears completely and it’s lined unlike the original.

I Farm & Ranch, an extremely warm hat for the coldest of days, had a few of those lately, -29 below one morning.

Love it. At first thought was a little small but that has already resolved. Love the way it covers all my ears to include the lobes. It is warm.

If you are looking for a cap for winter this is the one you need. This is very warm and comfortable. The ear flaps are the best, I have a huge head and not to take anything away from the standard Kromer but they don't pull down far enough for me. Not only is this hat very well made but it is made in the USA and that matters a lot to me. We have purchased about 8 Kromers this winter between the two of us. Thanks, and Stormy would be proud of his name on this cap!

Very comfortable except when sweating as the headband area feels wet, a wicking material there would help. Warm enough for most activities, but wind does penetrate. Ear flaps work well except when wind is in your face, then they don't help much or even make it worse by funneling it in. I am going to put a strap through the flaps so I can tighten them down. That should work well. For really cold and windy weather sheepskin fleece is my go to. Quality, workmanship and style as well as function for all but the coldest weather is great. ~~ Great suggestions - this will be passed along to our design team. SK ~~
