Recently bought a blaze orange rancher hat for a upcoming late season deer hunt. The hat fits me correctly, but the ear flaps do not. They do not hold close to my head, so instead of protecting me from the wind they catch it causing me to freeze. I'm very let down. ~~ Sorry to hear this. Exceptionally well made, superior warmth and protection from the elements, functional style. I have worn this hat everyday since I received it through a very helpful tracking system. So immediately impressed with this product that my sister bought one for her husband’s birthday, and one for herself. Wish I had bought this hat years ago!

I bought this hat to use for archery hunting. In Northern Wisconsin the fall can be cold and windy. This cap has been the one Ihave needed for years. It is very versatile and great for still hunting. Excellent quality and very reasonably priced.

A bit of a higher crown but it's to be expected as it's insulated. I have not worn it a bunch yet, but comfortable as usual. Will know more when ice fishing arrives.

I was expecting this cap to fit like my original stormy kromer cap from 7 years ago (but with a longer earband) and it simply does not. I have not worn a new original cap but it sure seems like the crown shape has changed or something. It was simply unwearable. I had to return it. Looks like my collection will remain at one. ~~ Sorry to hear your cap didn't fit as expected. The big difference between the Original and the Rancher is the warm insulation - it may cause the cap to fit/feel different than the Original cap. SK ~~
