The Rancher Cap is built for people who put warmth and function first. Whether you're ice fishing, snow blowing, working outside, or simply refuse to let winter slow you down, the Rancher is built to keep you comfortable in harsh conditions.
No. The Rancher Cap is lined with soft cotton flannel, and the sweatband is made from a comfortable polycotton blend. The earbands are lined with fleece, so the wool outer shell never sits directly against your skin.
Use a soft tape measure to measure around your head where you like your hat to sit. Divide that measurement by 3.14 (π), then round up to the nearest 1/8. This is your Stormy Kromer hat size. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler. Please remember that these hats generally do not stretch over time. If your measurement falls between sizes, or if you prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up.
Dry cleaning is the best way to care for your Rancher Cap. For small spills or stains, spot cleaning is often enough. If your cap gets wet from rain or snow, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never put your wool cap in the dryer, as the heat can cause it to shrink.

This is a great hat! It is very warm and comfortable. It looks good too. It is very well-made, high quality materials and craftsmanship. Do yourself a favor and get on of these outstanding hats!

This is a quality hat that is built well with good material. For me, I ended up ordering 1 1/2 sizes larger than I measured that I would need. (I find it impossible to measure myself accurately for a fitted style hat!) I'm glad I ordered the larger size as I don't like a hat that is tight around my forehead. This fits well for me. The flaps to fold down over my ears was a necessary feature for where I live. I have the sense that this hat will last a long time for me. The only ding I can give it is the odd style crown of the hat. It's almost like wearing a bubble on your head, but I expect over time to break that in so the rounded crown isn't sticking up so much. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Love this hat! With the one thing constant being the weather in Colorado isn't... cold, colder, warm then cold and colder again all in a day. This hat has you covered in any situation. I also saw elk every day with it..... might just be my new lucky hat as well!

I wasn’t sure how this would hold up on the cold UP weather but it is a must have. Comfortable, warm and durable! Size: Fit is a little small. I measured myself at a 7 3/8 but jumped up to a 7 5/8, glad I did…a little more comfortable

Recently bought a blaze orange rancher hat for a upcoming late season deer hunt. The hat fits me correctly, but the ear flaps do not. They do not hold close to my head, so instead of protecting me from the wind they catch it causing me to freeze. I'm very let down. ~~ Sorry to hear this.
