The Rancher Cap

Love my new Rancher hat I received for Christmas. I normally just wear a headband but for those cold icy days while X-country skiing or snowshoeing this hat is the best!

The rancher cap is a great cap but a little bulky for me. I bought it for pheasant hunting but with the thinsulate lining its a bit too warm for that. Would be great sitting in a deer stand though. I sure wish they made the original cap with ear muffs. That would be perfect for active cold weather activities

I received 2 Stormy Kroger hats for Christmas. The 7-1/4 fit perfectly. The 7-1/8 which I can normally wear, fit like a beanie, way small. So I decided to buy another 7-1/4 on line. It was so big it covered my ears and eyes with all my fingers inserted. Sizes. Per my experience don’t run true. Only buy where you can try it on! They are really nice caps if you get one that fits. ~~ Sorry to hear of your sizing issues. Will let production and quality control know of this situation so they can correct it for future items. I purchased the hat to wear while spectating Nordic ski races. I put it to the test this past weekend with temps in the teens one day, and below zero the next. My head and ears stayed toasty warm. All while wearing this awesome looking hat!!!

This is the best winter hat I have ever had. I have lived and worked in an area with very harsh winters. I have tried lots of different kinds of hats — this is the BEST at keeping me warm that I have ever had. I have worn it every day since I got it a month ago. The ear flaps are fantastic, and it’s great they can be folded up when not needed. Amazing hat!!!

While it’s a nice-looking and well-built hat/cap, the flaps don’t seem to sit very close to my ears. A simple stocking cap keeps my ears much warmer. ~~ Sorry your Rancher isn't fitting the way you like. You have 90 day from purchase to return your cap. Bought this for our oldest son for Christmas. We got him the camouflage material and he loved it. He wears and has a lot of camo. Very soft inside and warm.

Best winter hat I own. Now I need a waxed canvas for waterfowl season. Thanks Stormy for saving my ears.

I bought this for my husband and he has worn it everyday since Christmas! What's even better is that it's made in our home state of Michigan!
