Just finished the WI deer season with the Rancher Cap. Some mornings in Northern Wi were in the single digits. Cap is the warmest I’ve worn in 40 yrs of deer hunting. Ear flaps worked great while still allowing me to hear that 10 pointer sneaking through the hardwoods looking for a doe….My brother tried it one morning and ordered one for himself

I'm giving this hat what it deserves, 5 stars. I just received my charcoal grey rancher and my gosh the hat fits like a glove and it is so warm. I'm so happy with stormy kromer and their team of Michigan workers for making such quality products!

I purchased this while hunting in Montana. Oh my have I been missing out. I was able to hike in the backcountry without over heating. My head was able to breath but I didn’t sweat. I was amazed how well it stopped the wind. Pulled the tab down over my neck. I was cozy warm. This will be so nice for late season archery and working in the cold. The Mad Bombers are nice but I tend to over heat easily with them. This will definitely be my go to hat for cold weather.

This hat was my saving grace during a 5 day hunt in the cold Montana mountains! I was afraid it wouldn’t keep my ears warm enough but it did, even in the blowing snow. Thanks!
