The unlined, cadet-style Flat Top is a unique alternative to the Original, while still providing traditional warmth and style.
To get your size, measure comfortably around your head where your cap will sit, with a tape measure. Take that number in inches, divide by 3.14 (pi) and round up to the nearest eighth. This is your cap size. See the chart for size conversions. You can also print out our hat sizer, click here.
First of all...it’s a Stormy Kroger...so there’s that. Then there’s the fact that even though the hat is flat, your attitude won’t be when you don this lid. Seriously, a bit of fashion and militaria come together with the security and warmth of wool, to turn you into a hot MP on a catwalk. Ok...that was too far wasn’t it...I took it too far. Just get the hat...it’s worth the 5 stars.
The hat is well made enough, but the reviews state that it runs small, so I ordered large and it is too big. I ordered another one, I hope it fits better, this one goes to the church thrift store.
I have 4 of these These are my favorites
Awesome, the best!!!
Great hat and love the colors! Fits nicely!
Read reviews but my other Kromer’s all 11 have been true to size. Gonna order next size up if available and hand this one down
Best looking hat in the line up & my favorite cold weather hat. I bought one for my father's birthday because he wanted mine. I got a size too big so tried to return it for 7 3/8 only to be told it's discontinued! I can't find an Ottawa or olive one in 7 3/8 anywhere. Who's the nozzle head that discontinued it?!
Hat sits higher than Ida style on head. Bought it to match the vest. Wonderful addition to hat collection
Received my olive flat top recently and I could not be happier! The quality, fit, look and color is impressive. I have a feeling this hat is going to last many seasons bushwhacking the Adirondacks with me.Eric P.
They say that when you own a Stormy Kromer, no other cap will ever satisfy your taste for comfort or quality. And we believe that’s true too, so we offer what other clothing manufacturers might consider a little crazy. Learn more here.
