The Ironwood Vest has a more modern look with a full-length zipper, stand-up collar, and slightly lighter wool for everyday versatility.

  • Dry cleaning is the best way to care for your Button Vest. Spot cleaning can work for small stains as needed. If the coat becomes wet, allow it to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Never machine dry your wool coat.

    I live in Florida and Michigan. I bought this vest a month ago and wear it every day. Because I'm old, I chill easily. In Florida I wear it under my motorcycle jacket and it's very comfortable and warm on these cool winter mornings (cool by Florida standards). In Michigan, if I start to chill, that's my go-to garment Very good looking, well made and comfortable. Worth every penny andore. I highly recommend. BTW, looks great with my SK caps..

    I bought this vest for its good looks, warmth and function. I can wear this vest with jeans or kaki slacks. Excellent product. I have purchased several products from Stormy Krommer. Never disappointed.

    I was very pleased when I received my vest. This 100% wool vest has a classic look and fits with blue jeans/ flannel shirt or a more dressy look with chinos and a button down. I like all the pockets especially the hand warmers. If wish the was at least one one on the inside. Mostly I love the fact it produced in the United States by people who care about creating great products that will become heirlooms!

    Very nice quality, well made, a pleasure to wear. Would be nice to have a more fitted option. I had to take mine to a tailor to bring the side seams in a few inches. Saw your ad in the Tillers International class catalogue.

    I really like the vest— nicely made, pretty material, made in the US. Customer service is excellent— I asked for physical dimensions of a couple sizes to compare so I ordered the right size— and they responded quickly. Amazing! I ordered the right size and it’s great. Been wearing as an extra layer for my commute and have gotten compliments by coworkers. You should buy one, too.

    Received this vest for Christmas. Excellent quality and craftsmanship. It's thick and the cut allows it to fit a little loose. Which is great for wearing a t-shirt and a flannel shirt underneath. It's very warm, it breathes, it's very good looking and best of all, it's a Stormy Kromer. You can't do any better.

    The material and workmanship are excellent, but the upper pockets aren't deep enough to securely hold my cell phone or glasses. Also, why do the sizes start at Medium? If the Button Vest came in Small, I would buy another one for my wife, as Stormy Kromer's women's vests seem to be designed for looks not warmth. ~~We will pass along your suggestions to our design team. The majority of our men's apparel are in size Large or XL, it's very rare that anyone asks for small. That is an opportunity our team will discuss for future products. Thanks for your suggestions!     I absolutely love this vest, it’s just the right weight, it’s warm but not hot, The pockets are just right and the quality is top notch.

    I own the LL Bean vest which is very nice but its only 11 ounce 85/15 wool and its a zip front. I was looking at the Filson which is 100 % wool and 24 ounce with button front. Then I saw the Stormy Kromer which id 26 once 100% wool with button front. I bought the Stormy Kromer and I am completely saticfied with my purchase. The wool is very well refined and the styling is top notch. I absolutely love this vest. Its just exactly what I wanted.
