    I'm an avid small game hunter. This vest is perfect for crisp days that are still a touch too warm for a full jacket. The left chest pocket perfectly fits my range finder which is great. When layered with the Mackinaw jacket its a very warm combo too. I'll be buying at least one more of these vests. I have the red and black plaid which is classic but I now want the blaze orange as well. Very well made and definitely worth the money.

    I have owned this vest for several years now and wear it from late Sept thru May in northern Wisconsin. It makes a huge difference in preserving core warmth, while allowing free arm mvmt if worn with a flannel - you will be suprised how warm it keeps you. When it gets colder, under a wool shirt jac it goes. I am 5'10" with 42 chest, 32 waist and I got the large, then had my seamstress snug the waist in as it was too roomy and would let a breeze in. Once this alteration was made, it was like wearing a little furace. Lastly, I have not babied this - wear it cutting wood, fishing, hunting - looks like the day I bought it.
