Lovely hat, well built...I measured before ordering and I was on the bottom end of the "large" range on the chart, ordered a large, got it, tried it on....too small, going to have to exchange for an XL. Definitely order a full size up! The exchange policy is easy, though, which is nice.

I wear a 7 3/8 like everyone else but ordered an XL and I'm glad I did. Hat is not nearly as wind resistant as I'd hoped. Needs a wind lining between interior and exterior layers. ~~ Thanks for you suggestion - we will pass it along to our design team. SK ~~
Per the measuring I should be a large but went ahead and ordered an XL based on the other reviews. Glad I did. Would be a 5 star review if it were insulated with a synthetic/lamlite rather than cotton.
The Bergland cap is a warm comfortable winter cap. I love it.
I love Harris Tweed so this hat was a no brainer. Like everyone else mentioned - it runs small. I measured my head and was a size LG, but I had to exchange for an XL. I've been wearing this the past two weeks during winter in NH and it's definitely warm. 4-stars instead of 5 because I wish the ear flaps extended forward a bit more to keep the wind out. Overall a great hat and I would buy again.
I should’ve listened to the other reviews, this product DEFINITELY runs small. I’m always a medium in hats, even their own size chart shows me firmly in medium territory, but the M was too small. Will have to exchange for larger size. Quality and look seem very good! Excited to get one that fits.
