The Northwoods Trapper Hat

I purchased this to wear at work on Alaska's North Slope. Extreme cold and high winds are the norm, this hat is perfect for it. I wear a simple neck gaiter to keep the wind off my neck and everything above my jacket collar stays toasty warm!

This is the most beautiful, warm and functional hat of it's kind that money can buy.

My father in law passed away and left a little money to his 5 children and I asked my husband what would he like if he could now get? This hat was his choice and he will be remembered long into the future

The cap exceeded my expectation. Hand salute to the seamstress or seamster who made it! Not one stitch out of place and just beautifully constructed.

Has great potential. Needs more insulation on top. I would add primaloft gold and also line the hat with fleece instead of the current liner. It would add some additional loft and warmth. Also, add snaps for the forehead flap instead of the stitches. Lastly, make one version with a gore tex liner. Then it will be blizzard ready.

I purchase the Trapper Hat for ice fishing and general out activities to keep warm in Northern Wisconsin winters. It has met my expectations. The reason for the for starts is the fit. I ordered according to the size chart and purchase a large. It is a little tighter than I wanted. It still works but wonder if the next size would have been a better choice.

Love this hat! Nowhere near as bulky as I thought it may be but still incredibly warm! The Lamilite insulation let’s moisture escape but still performs when the exterior of the hat is wet with snow and ice. Great USA-made hat! Thank you for offering this style!
