Fantastic design with plenty of pockets in convenient locations to access with a super durable, well built zipper that you won’t have to worry about failing! Perfect vest for while I’m working outside in the cold and windy days, it keeps me a perfect temperature and it’s so comfortable I forget I’m wearing it!!!

At first was a little stiff, but broke in super fast, keeps me extra warm, and dry with all this wet/snowy weather we’ve been getting in my area. Fits nice over my mackinaw coat for some extra warmth plus weather proofing! I received this item as part of a promotion.

Great vest but was expecting some kind of of interior lining , I’m hoping to exchange it for the barrier vest .

I’ve got the other waxed stromy vest, the one that’s lined and has buttons, but I gotta say I do like the zipper on this one. It’s sturdy. The vest itself is great, pockets are easy to get to when your wearing it, and it just looks cool

The vest fits very nice and looks good. I appreciate the tag loop for hanging the vest up which the Waxed Cotton Vest does not have. That being said, the liner inside the Waxed Cotton Vest is nicer, this vest does not have any internal lining except for the fleece collar which is nice. The zipper sticks a little on mine but I have only worn it a few times, maybe it needs to break in. I am sure Stormy Kromer would fix it if it failed in the future based on their excellent customer service. To be honest, I did consider returning it due to lack of a liner (I assumed it had a liner - I couldn't really tell from a quick glance at the pictures on the website that it didn't) along with the mediocre zipper condition, but it fits really nice and looks really good so I decided to keep it. It does seem to block the wind well even without a liner. One other thing to note, the pockets are nice, there are angled open ones as the top that retain my cellphone within easy reach and button pockets to keep things I don't want to accidently fall out. Overall I would recommend.
