This my new favorite cap. Now I can wear a waxed cap year around. I have worn the uninsulated waxed cap(field tan) for several years all through the warm months here in Michigan. Protects me from the sun and rain. I had been wearing a classic wool cap for the colder months. I now bring out a wool cap when I want dress things up a little although I get many comments about my "good looking" waxed cap(dark oak). A Stormy fan for life.

After utilizing you’re size calculator I ordered a 7 1/8. The hat fits very snug. It is ok for short periods of wear but begins to be uncomfortable after awhile. I should have ordered a size bigger, 71/2 ~~ Glen - sorry the size you ordered didn't work. You can always exchange for a different size within 90 days of purchase. If you're a hunter or outdoors in foul weather this cap shines. There are lots of copies but you will not find the quality that these folks put into there products. You may pay a few dollars more but if you have a problem you will be taken care of by a nice friendly person here in the good old USA and also you are buying something made here. I still wear my Dad's that is over fifty years old. Hats off keep up the fine work Sincerely John
