It was a bit heavier than I anticipated, but its an awesome jacket. The lining keeps any itchy wool from my arms when I wear a short sleeve shirt. I'm 5'10" 260lbs and the 2X fits fine. Its a tad snug in the belly, but not terribly. This is why its a 4-star for me. It's not as roomy as the Mackinaw but roomier than the Ironwood. This has become my everyday jacket this November in Wisconsin. I got the Carbon color, which was a tad darker than I anticipated, but still a great look. I love it so much. I'm planning on picking up the White Pine as well.

The Frontier Shirt Jack is a really nice garment! Super comfortable. I love the lining. Overall quality and craftsmanship really shows. Its perfect to wear with a t-shirt on a cool fall day, but it's also going to be easy to layer under it a bit when the colder temps hit. Definitely would recommend a size that will allow you to layer. Here in the PNW, this can easily be a 3 season shirt jack.
