The Button Vest - On Sale

Great quality love all of the pockets and the color “Ottawa” it’s not cold enough yet to wear it, but I’m sure it will be warm.

This was/is my third Kromer button vest. I bought one of the very first ones in blaze orange when they came out in that color. Then I bought a waxed canvas mode a few years ago. Both have seen extensive wear and use and have been great. I always liked the Ottawa camo pattern and have the cap and wool bandana in that color. So I finally broke down and bought the vest in Ottawa as well. I feel confident in this vest and that it will work just as good as my other two Kromer button vests do. I highly recommend said vest.

I originally got this in 2XL and exchanged for XLT. The fit is great for me and layers nicely with my coat and baselayers. I also have the matching Ottawa hat. I agree with the other review - SK needs a wool shirt or coat in the Ottawa pattern.

Love the vest! Per some prior customer comments, I ordered a size larger than I normally would've and the fit was perfect. Now I'm dealing with the urge to order the matching cap! Vest appears well made. Because of the color, the material composition isn't the same as the other vests (knew that from the start per the description on the website) so it's not as heavy or as stiff as the non-Ottawa colors but I'm fine with that. I'd be VERY interested in a wool shirt in this pattern if SK decided to add one to the lineup.

Order one size larger than you usually wear

The vest is very high quality and looks stylish. The colors are a little different than what is shown on the website but are a classy muted color. The vest is a bit snug in its cut but not overly so. Overall I am very pleased with the vest and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality wool vest.
