The best hat I have ever owned, perfect stitching,seems,weight,insulation from the cold. Make no mistake this is a top quality hat that will last lifetimes if taken care of and looks really good when worn, also the snaps that hold the ear warmers up are very high quality. Overall I highly recommend this hat to anyone just make sure you measure your head properly and go by centimeters for more of a perfect fit. On a side note I really wish this hat also Came in red buffalo plaid because I would buy that one to in a heart beat.

What's not to like about this hat? Stormy Kromer has great customer service, and their products are so cool! I have become a big fan.

I've been wearing my new Bergland cap on morning walks in Maine for the last week. While I don't dislike the cap, I don't love it either. My head measured a 7 1/2 which is on the top end of the Large. The fit is snug initially but I'm hoping for a little stretch as it wears. The ear flaps are a little disappointing for two reasons: 1) they barely cover my ears and 2) if there is any wind there is nothing to secure the flaps against my ears. In effect they are more decorative than practical. Overall the material and finish is top notch but after experiencing the design in the field I wouldn't buy it again.

Love the SK Bergland Cap but did not appreciated that it was folded into a plastic bag for transport - instead of using a cardboard box to protect it. ~~ Sorry to see that your're not happy with our packaging. We switched to FedEx for this holiday season as the USPS delivery times have been unreliable. We will be looking as shipping options after the holiday season is done and may have a better option later. I have the original Stormy Kromer but was looking for something with more ear protection when out in the blowing snow and I love the fit so far. I’ve only had it a week and 25 F degrees is the lowest it has been and no snow so I can’t wait to give it a real test. Hunted in the upper 20’s and didn’t even use the flaps.
