I purchased this book for my two great granddaughters ages 2 and 4, and am pleased that I did. The presentation of the alphabet letters is done in such a way to hold children's interest while learning about the Upper Peninsula.Unfamiliar words are parenthesized in common sounds that both adults and children can recognize. And make no mistake about it, reading opens up the world to the reader whether young or old. What a wonderful opportunity to expose the readers to the U.P. Well done Mr. Reddinger, well done!

I love the rhymes. It is such a cute book with a bunch of classic yooper references. I think the print quality on some photos was less than stellar but little ones will love it!
