I have not had a chance to test these mittens in extreme cold. I am very satisfied with the quality and fit. A great product made in the USA is always a priority for me.

I like to walk several miles everyday including the winter. My hands seem to always get cold even under 45 degrees. I ordered these mitts and they are very well made as are all of the Stormy Kromer products that I have purchased. They are the warmest hand coverings that I have including other mittens and gloves. For my old man cold hands, they could be a little better insulated but for the average person they will most likely be very warm. I would recommend them.
