These are absolutely the best. They keep your hands so warm. I got these for my son for cold commutes in NYC. He loves them. I’ve had mine for at least ten years now. They still look great and keep my hands warm.

Sizing guide suggested the next largest size. Too big, sent back to exchange for a smaller size. Did not use them, only tried on to verify the fit. Looking forward to receiving the correct size. Return was easy, I paid for shipping there, they pay for shipping on new mitts.

Gloves are very warm and cozy, though the leather is very thin and cheap, seems likely as a shortcut to make them more comfortable from day one. Using a thicker top grain oiled leather seems like it might have been a better choice.

Quality of the materials is high quality. Fit is a big snug. They're also not quite as warm as I thought they would be. I wear a light pair of wool liner gloves with them and it makes a huge difference.

I use these mittens when I'm using my snow blower. Easy to operate all controls with mittens on. My hands stay toasty even when Temps are in the teens.

These mitts are good. In most situations, they're great, but you don't want to drag them through the snow, like when you're sledding, as it'll quickly wear a hole in the wool. Other than that, I've gotten a lot of good use out of them and would buy them again.

Love the mitts and knowing that they are made in our country is a huge plus

I just purchased a pair of XL Olive Mitts. I was looking forward to wearing during my course i was instructing for Winter Survival. In the first 3 hours of wearing them my hands literally suffered from wearing (cold) them in the 20 degrees weather. I like how they fit and my 40 students enjoyed my review of them to start. First time I ever had a problem with Stormy Kromer gear. I took great pride in adding them to my outdoor survival gear list for my students as an option. Hopefully my next pair I purchase will not fail me. ~~Hi Quint, We are so sorry to hear this happened. Please reach out to our CS team at [email protected] and we will make this right. SK~~

Just purchased a pair from Amazon, although they are a little pricey. They fit in the pocket of My Stormy Mackinaw coat. The construction of the mittens is solid. I purchased a larger size to add a polar fleece or wool mitten liner or the same for extra warmth. The mittens would be fantastic if the wool fabric were a double layer with a leather palm. Tne add a removable wool or polar fleece liner for the price range.
