My #1 work cap. In and out of truck in all weather. The only of many waxed cotton hats that I have owned that has not been a "sweat box!" This hat has never failed to keep my head dry transitioning from heavy labor to little activity on the road. In and out of rain frequently and "breathed" enough to keep my head dry. I have two and they are afield with me hunting/fishing and work.

I've not been much of a hat guy in the past. I've had this Stormy Kromer Waxed Cotton Cap for just a little over a week and I wear it all the time. I have left the house then returned home just because I forgot my cap! I probably should have bought a size or two smaller but, with that said, I love the feel of this cap. It feels durable, though only time will tell. I will likely own more.

Haven’t had this hat long enough to say how durable it is, but it is excellent in the rain. Very comfortable hat, well constructed. I believe it will last a lifetime!

Got my cap, the other five are wool, on a Friday. It rained for the next two days, couldn't have had a better test and it came thru with flying colors. Wondered how long I could wear it before changing to the wool. Had a volunteer outing with the Boys Scouts cleaning up yards for the seniors at 17 degrees in the morning and it worked out fine. I have never recorded a cap , but I will with this one because I wouldn't want to be without a waxed cotton. We now have three generations wearing Stormy Kromer Caps.

I have several SK hats and this one met all expectations. It fits great, is warm, and keeps my head dry during the rainy months in the pacific NW.

i have the dark oak, love it! every hat is like a fingerprint, slightly different, so try several on before taking one home. i am now the proud owner of 4 sk hats with this one being my 1st. if i had to give a complaint about the waxed cotton it would be that it is very hot when doing any physical labor. my advice...put on the hat, crack a beer, go outside, and sit around a campfire when the snow is falling. good times. chad from green bay wi

Just the right amount of warmth for me. Very comfortable, I wear it 9 months of the year. I think it looks and feels better with age.

I have a black and tan waxed cotton. Love them. Super comfortable and breaths very well. Any chance of making this cap in a brimless model? Scott in Duluth
