You really can wear a Kromer all year round. We kept the classic style of the Original, but cut it from lightweight, water-resistant 100% waxed cotton duck. When the chilly morning gives way to a sunny afternoon, just pull up the earband and you'll be comfortable all day long.

Living in Alabama, we don’t wear wool caps very often. I’m excited about the waxed cotton hat. It fits well, has great style, and looks like it will keep the rain off my head. I am very pleased with the product.

Used SK's method to determine size, but cap was too small. Returned it and am waiting a replacement. High quality construction, but the liner was WAY too big and was folded over itself. I hope the next one is better, as I love my other SK!

Great hat but I wish there was a little less material on top. I have a smaller head so it looks a little high on top.

This is my third Stormy, so I was no stranger to the craftsmanship, fit and finish of their caps. Even still I was surprised by how perfectly comfortable it was the day I got it. I've never owned a hat that required so little break-in and was immediately my go-to. This is a fitted hat with no ventilation, so it runs on the warm side and probably won't be my first choice in the summer but it is not uncomfortably warm, either. This will be my first choice cover in spring, autumn, and in rain.
