You really can wear a Kromer all year round. We kept the classic style of the Original, but cut it from lightweight, water-resistant 100% waxed cotton duck. When the chilly morning gives way to a sunny afternoon, just pull up the earband and you'll be comfortable all day long.

    Just bought this Waxed Cotton Cap as my second Stormy Kromer. Very pleased with quality and appearance. Perfect for the spring weather in Minnesota.

    I’m an upland bird hunter and wanted a hat in hunter orange for safety reasons. I also didn’t want a heavily insulated cap because your constantly over heated trudging after birds. I believe the waxed/hunter orange cap will be ideal for me in the pheasant fields. Quality is evident, a very well constructed garment that I hope will serve me a long time. I ordered a size larger than my actual size, glad I did, because it fits me just right. Can’t wait to test it out next season.

    I’ve owned this particular hat for 10 years it’s my favorite hat, I wear it all the time except in the extreme heat.
