You really can wear a Kromer all year round. We kept the classic style of the Original, but cut it from lightweight, water-resistant 100% waxed cotton duck. When the chilly morning gives way to a sunny afternoon, just pull up the earband and you'll be comfortable all day long.

This is my second Kromer, my first was the Rancher and it's absolutely perfect for any cold weather that comes your way. I loved it so much but couldn't wear it unless it was pretty darn cold out, so I got the waxed cotton cap. Great for a fall and spring. Fits like a glove. Looks great.

I’m an upland bird hunter and wanted a hat in hunter orange for safety reasons. I also didn’t want a heavily insulated cap because your constantly over heated trudging after birds. I believe the waxed/hunter orange cap will be ideal for me in the pheasant fields. Quality is evident, a very well constructed garment that I hope will serve me a long time. I ordered a size larger than my actual size, glad I did, because it fits me just right. Can’t wait to test it out next season.
