You really can wear a Kromer all year round. We kept the classic style of the Original, but cut it from lightweight, water-resistant 100% waxed cotton duck. When the chilly morning gives way to a sunny afternoon, just pull up the earband and you'll be comfortable all day long.

This hat lives up to the quality of all the rest of their hats. The waterproof feature comes in especially handy, when out in the rain/snow type of weather. Wish they offered it in more choices of camo coloring. Marshland (lighter color) type would be great! It's an awesome hat for Duck hunting and the conditions that you encounter, while doing so. Would definitely purchase again.

I wear hats all the time and I’ve been eyeing this waxed version for a while and finally pulled the trigger. My only regret is not buying this years ago as it is now the best fitting, highest quality hat I own. I only wear clothing that is USA made so this was a the main reason for the purchase. It is always worth paying extra for products that are made here in the USA and Stormy Kromer is no exception. Quality is tops. Though it’s my first Stormy Kromer, I’m sure it won’t be my last. Thank you SK for keeping production in the USA and for making the highest quality hats.

Gorgeous colors, brilliant look and feel. Almost went with the wrong size but managed to nail a perfect fit on my first try. Great service, too. Love how sturdy this cap is.
