My husband has two SK caps that he's been wearing about five years. I had no idea they made caps for women until I saw SK's FB page, and I was sold. The petal pusher is a perfectly feminine version of his manly hat; warm and rugged (I wear it ice fishing, snowshoeing, etc) and absolutely darling (looks great with my down vest AND my nice wool coat). I have the charcoal/pink version, and it is more adorable in real life than on this page, if you can believe it. My head size falls just between the two sizes, so I ordered up. The band fits perfectly, with no pressure behind my ears (where so many hats put pressure and give me headaches). The visor actually keeps snow off my glasses, and cuts down on sun/snow glare! The cap part is a little big, but it allows me to snug it down on my head, and tuck the tips of my ears inside, without pulling the flap down. This feature is great for me, living in MN and subzero Jan/Feb windchills, but some people may not like wearing hats this way. My husband's says his hats fit and look better the longer he wears them, and I'm sure it will be the same with mine. I'm happy to leave my stocking caps behind! They always smooshed my hair down and never looked all that great anyway. I am thrilled with my functional AND pretty purchase. -SarahB

I grew up in Wakefield, near Ironwood. Kromers were part of our everyday lives. I happened upon a store, and all those memories came rushing back. My daughter loves her new hat and I love the craftsmanship and quality. This is a hat that can last her lifetime and carry on a Yooper tradition. -Becky

Love it! Love it! Wherever I go wearing this wonderful cap I get rave reviews. Came in handy during our winter freeze of -10 degrees with wind chill of -20 degrees in WI. Brrr...head was toasty. -Ann

I love my new hat. I ordered the pink and grey hat with the pink flower. Love it! I get compliments wherever I go. Best part is lowering the ear flaps when the temperature is -10 degrees and wind chill of - 20 degrees. Priceless. -Anninstitches

Our Uncle Jack always wore one - whether it was the black or the red and black plaid - now I have my own! Can't wait to send one to my little sis in Washington. It looks like it may be the start of a new collection. -Emj

This hat is very cute and warm, but it did not fit my head right. Where one of the pipings sit on my forhead leaves a mark when I take the hat off. I may have gotten a size too small, but the next size up was way too big. I like these hats, just make sure you wear the hat for a while before you take the tags off. -mary

I have not worn a hat in the winter for over 10 yrs. Last summer I tried on a Petal Pusher while shopping in Saugatuck. Felt good, looked good. So, for Christmas, my husband and I ordered what we wanted from SK and when the package came...I wrapped it. Opened it Christmas morning and wore it all day!! I am now a "hat lady". Thank you Stormy Kromer.... -Jeanie
