this hat would have rated a 5 star but, the 7 3/8 in the mens that i tried on at the store locally fit me perfectly and almost snug. yet the 7 3/8 in this style runs a size larger than the mens original , it's a little loose, i was able to tighten it with the side string after removing the little wool flower pieces. I asked the chat representative about the sizing before i ordered it and she assured me it was the same other than a smaller brim. it will work fine for me but for others they need to know that it is larger.
