I hesitated for a long time on pulling the trigger on this coat. I'm glad I finally bought it! The sizing guide is spot-on with room for an additional layer underneath for colder days. The materials and construction of the coat seem to be very good quality. I hope to be wearing this one for many, many years to come.

Two month review. I’m in Georgia. For us, we have had a cold winter. This is the best purchase I have ever made. I look forward to putting it on everyday. True quality and perfect for GA moderate cold (30 to 60 degree range). Plus, it is beautiful. I get compliments on it daily.

Just received my exchange. I’m 5’10” 173ibs. I got the large and it was just too big. The medium is perfect. This is the most beautiful coat I have ever seen. Very happy with it.

First of all I'm about 6'1", and weigh 170. I bought two coats, one medium and one large tall. My shoulders are about 42" and I could barely get the medium on. Since I have long arms, the Large tall fits almost perfectly. It is a little roomy in the body section but bulky clothes are worn under it. I will say it's not heavy enough for me to wear when it's 20 degrees or below. But it's a beautiful coat. One other thing, be very patient getting your money back after a return. Since I bought two coats, I had to return one and it took about a month to get my money back.

I was surprise to find a new black and red mackinaw coat at the vintage thrift store in Chicago.

I have 3 Stormy coats and this is the roomiest. Its definitely made to be layered. The charcoal is a nice dark grey color. If they weren't so pricey, I would get at least 1 more for sure. But the price for quality is really good.

Ssshhhh... Don't tell anybody, but the wool is tighter and softer than on my Mackinaw "cruiser" from the other guys and a couple hundred bucks cheaper! And it's made right here in the U.S. The other "top name" can't say that. For your money, Stormy Kromer is your best bet.

What’s the difference between the $300 Mackinaw and the $400 Mackinaw? I just bought the $300 Mackinaw and I love it! ~ Hi Paul, Our double mackinaw has an additional layer on top of the coat for extra warmth. SK~
