This thing fits perfectly, I'm 6'1" and 240 lbs and the xlt is fantastic. Well built, warm, it's everything I expected.

A well-made, warm, and great looking coat - I've received many compliments and asked where I got it from - I would expect more orders / requests :)

I love this jacket; I have 3 of them. I am 6'1" and 185 lbs. The large was too tight so I have the XL tall which is loose, but fine for layers. My only gripe is the 2 upper hand warmer pockets which seems to me wasted real estate. I really wish they were button pockets like you find in the Filson Mackinaw jacket. Nevertheless, this coat is superior in everyway: heavier wool with a tighter weave. Love it.

I love this jacket...however, I have tried every size from Large to XXL. I am 6'1'' and 180 pounds. Large was very tight and I finally settled on the XL Tall. It's a bit big for me, but I like loose fitting clothes and with a thin layer underneath I have worn this in below zero weather and was still warm and comfy. The weave is tight which helps with wind and snow. I will probably buy another in a couple of years. BTW, I wear the olive green and I get complements every time I wear it.

Love look and feel of coat. Have not worn in weather below 30-35 degrees...... not sure how it will do in cold zero degree or lower temps with wind. Pockets just seem not in the "right" place to naturally put hands into opening seems to be just a bit to far back. Would like to see wool thicker and heavier.

Wanted to love this coat, but I found a few problems. I bought a XL (6'0" and 215) the arm holes are somewhat tight and if I try to wear a wool sweater, the bulkiness is not comfortable through the underarms and shoulders. Also the only pockets useful to me are the two button pockets. The slash pockets behind the button pockets are very shallow and one could not trust that one's keys or anything else wouldn't fall out. In order to use the chest pockets one needs to have crocodile arms. These pockets are also shallow and at an awkward angle. Having said all of that, since the jacket is 100% wool, it is warm. This jacket would be a 5 plus star if, in my opinion it had an inside pocket, or maybe a liner. For what it is, the price point is a bit high. I bought it because I like to support U.S. made products and workers. I have as button down vest and a jacket also and they are good, but not home runs. My wife loves her vest, mittens and jacket but she's built better than I am.

The only reason I gave this jacket and vest 4 stars was because the pockets could be designed better and there are no interior chest pockets. I am a 30 year customer of C.C. Filson. The wool in this jacket is every bit the quality of Filson's wool. The stitching and fit are excellent, and for the price of the Filson, I got coat AND the matching vest! Deal. Customer service was top notch. Delivery was prompt, and they are sending me some material so I can sew my own interior vest pockets. The Mackinaw will be with me for the rest of my days. Thank you, Stormy. Go Uppers! BTW, they're called pasties. The kind for eating, not wearing. (Upper joke).
