The Brimless Cap

This has the same fit and quality as the regular cap, including the pull down ear flaps. It gives a more casual type beanie fit when you don't want a brim and a full cap. A different look and very functional.

The Brimless hat is well put together using very good wool. I like the looks of the hat until I put it in my head. It fits correctly, but the crown is too tall even if I to pull the entire hat down until the edge rests on my ears. Too tall. If Kromer would cut the crown down an inch to an inch and a half, I think it would fit much better for most. I'll keep it. I am having a sexond hat made. Maybe they'll cut the crown down as I requested. Hope so.

Received the cap and tried it on right away. I have 6 other story kromer hats that are 7 3/4 size and fit with good comfort. Not too tight and not too loose. This one was so tight it must have been mis-sized, I could barely get it on my head. I emailed the company about the cap and got no response. So, after 3 days I said screw it and sent it back for a refund. Looks like I'll stick with only 6, because number 7 must be unlucky. Jim - I'm so sorry you didn't get a response from us, that is not the level of service we pride ourselves on. Please give us another chance to get you a brimless cap to add to your collection. Great hat, well made, super comfortable, excellent design. Wish it didn't have the "Stormy Kromer 1903" in grey thread on the front of the black cap, though.

My old hat had no black on it which I preferred. Love the versatility of this lovely thing. I also shoulda bought a bigger one! Oh well! :) Lots of gray matter!
