It's hard to find a good light weight wool vest. This one fit the bill for me as it doesn't usually get too cold here. This vest works well for me in the 35 to 65 degree range. I would have given 5 stars if it had an inside pocket. Has a good length to it also.

This is a really nice, warm wool vest. I use it as a layer under a heavy coat and take off the coat once I warm up. I also sometimes wear it inside with just a t shirt under it. It's dense wool, so it is thin, but very warm. Feels like wearing a blanket over the middle of your body. Great layer to have for conditions in the UP! I'm 5'11'', 180 lbs with an athletic build and I got a medium. It fits perfectly. I can just barely fit a sweater under it, but I prefer to wear it with just a shirt under it.

Once again, S K refuses to match plaids. You could probably let it go on a cap, but it’s something I expected on a 150. dollar vest. I already have a red plaid cap that looks like a clown hat due to the plaids running every which way. I specifically asked for a vest with decent plaid matching when I ordered it, but got their usual level of not caring. I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised. A company that stresses good workmanship and quality products should be able to do better! ~ Hi Gregg, We're sorry you aren't happy with your vest. We don't match the plaids on our items to get the most out of the fabric we use. Although, we are happy to accept a return or exchange as long as it falls within our return policy of new/unworn with tags attached within 90 days of purchase. SK~

I did not care for the fabric. Too hard.

Received the vest about a week and a half ago. I ordered an XL and couldn’t hardly zip it up over a tshirt! I have a 38 inch waist. I returned it the next day asking for the same vest in a XXL. I haven’t heard a thing about my return at this point. I’m very surprised that a XL would run that small as that is my normal size for most everything.

First ever vest. Love it! Have worn it every day since it arrived. Would love one that was a deep purple/maroon/burgundy for men.

I had been looking to get a SK vest for sometime but as much as I want to buy made in the USA I work in the USA and so I look for sale items. I managed to get an Evergreen Boundary vest during the St. Patrick's day sale. While it was not my first choice (I was hoping for the button vest to come down) I have come to really like the cut of the 2X for a taller guy like myself. The pockets are deep enough to fit a cell phone and sewn in such a way that, unless you are doing cartwheels, cargo is not falling out. It's perfect for Midwestern spring weather where temperatures can be on a yo-yo and having an insulating wool layer can become a life saver when then temperature drops suddenly.
