    This version is a more "waxy" than the Filson tin cloth wax dressing. It takes it a bit more elbow grease to work it in, but a little warmth in front of the fireplace and it flows nicely. You can apply too much of the Filson dressing and it will leave your garment sticky, not so with the Martexin wax. I think this "drier" finish may last longer in the weather.

    Works well on the Companion purse and is easy to use (just warm it first). Plus this is cheaper on this site than the major online shopping site.
