The Petal Pusher Cap

It's stitched with a wool flower flourish, Ida Kromer pattern and the same six-panel crown construction as our Original. That means it'll fit forever, which is about how long it'll be in style.

  • 23-25 oz. 80/20 wool/nylon blend
  • 100% cotton flannel lining
  • Six-panel crown construction
  • Pulldown earband
  • Made in the USA with globally sourced materials
  • Dry clean only

To get your size, measure comfortably around your head where your cap will sit, with a tape measure. Take that number in inches, divide by 3.14 (pi) and round up to the nearest eighth. This is your cap size. See the chart for size conversions. You can also print out our hat sizer, click here.

I get tons of compliments from total strangers when I wear this. "Love your Stormy!" Who knew a warm hat could attract so much positive attention?!?

Just bought a Petal Cap- winter white w/ teal/brown plaid at the factory (took the tour, it's awesome!). Don't want to take it off, even inside. Compliments from everyone who's seen it. I can tell it's warm, will be perfect at home in CO, ear flaps are ingenious (STILL cute!).

Purchased my hat the day before flying to MI to spend a week in the snow at Lake MI. It was on sale at a local outdoor store and I thought it was so cute, but what delighted me was the performance! So warm and functional, love that they are proudly made in the USA. I get compliments on it every time, keep up the good work SK, you have a new loyal customer. ,

I could never have survived the Boston winter this year without my Raspberry Petal Pusher hat. I bought this for myself and am so glad I did. I've had to park a mile away from work and I walk a mile back and forth each day. The earflaps, the snug fit, and my matching Ida mittens have kept me toasty even on the snowiest, sub zero climates. Guaranteed I'll buy a few more. Have received many compliments too. Keep up the good work.

I LOVE hats! However it is so hard to find cute and warm put together. You can stop at any Target and get a cute hate but this is the only cute and warm hat I have found. I get so many compliments when I wear mine and people are shocked when they see the ear flaps down and even more shocked when they find out it's made in Michigan. We live in the LP so not as much weather in the winter as the UP but we still get blasted and this hat is PERFECT for it!

While on our anniversary in northern Minnesota, my husband and I stopped at a store. I saw this beautiful white cap that was striped teal and brown with a teal flower on the side and I instantly fell in love with it. As I was grabbing it off the shelf I was telling my husband how cute it was and that I wanted it. After trying it on I just had to have this hat. I had no idea what a stormy kromer was. So my husband starts explaining the story to me. I was even more intrigued that it was made in the USA. Making the price totally worth it. I wore it out of the store, the fit is so comfortable I can't tell that it's there. It was really windy that day as well and I never felt like it was going to fly off my head. The band for your ears is awesome, especially not having to wear extra winter accessories. I love my SKin and will definitely purchase another one in the future.

I am now the proud owner of 3 Petal Pushers, Black Winter White with Raspberry, and my latest Eggplant. Everywhere I go, people compliment me on my hat. The fit is incredible, it never stretches out, stays on my head in extreme wind, I forget that I have it on, It is the most comfortable hat I have ever had. Good job Stormy! -Karen R

I bought this in raspberry & brown and just love it. It feels like it was made for my head. I would like to get this in other colors too. Wish it came in hunter's orange for those of us ladies who hunt. -LJS

I'm just gonna start out by saying I don't usually look very good in hats. However, I have recently become a proud owner of my first Stormy Kromer cap! While shopping at a store in northern Minnesota, this cute gray cap with a pink flower caught my eye. I tried it on and fell in love with it, plus it actually looked cute -Karen C

I just purchased my third Stormy Kromer Pedal Pusher hat. I have the gray/pink, Black/white and ordered the eggplant. I know it is a little expensive, but very worth it. Plus American Made!! I am thinking next year for Christmas buying my whole family a hat! -Cinda

You might not need instructions to wear your Stormy Kromer masterpiece, but there is a right way and a wrong way. The right way involves putting the cap on your head, grabbing the ear band on both sides and pulling down. There’s no unfolding or flipping, and you don’t have to take your cap off. Just pull down and settle in.
