The sizer sure measures my cap size differently than the size that’s fits in the store. I wouldn’t say the measuring tape is accurate. ~ Hi Elizabeth, Fit of our caps can also be preference as well. We always say when you take a measurement, you still want to consider being able to put a cap on and off. If the tape measurer is pulled too tight, the cap can fit too tight and vice versa. I think this is a great idea for getting the hat fit right, bought my stormykromer prior this. The suggestion to go to the size up if in between is good suggestion too. I was between sizes so bought the size down thinking it would stretch...they don't so my hat hangs in the closet.

It really helped to determine my hat size. I received the hats: perfect fit.

This handy accessory is great. If I had this when I first ordered my hatI I wouldn’t had to exchange it for the correct size.
