The Swallowtail Jacket

Quality jacket, bought the black and white plaid style but returned it because the pattern did not match up at all on the slit in the back of the jacket. Looked as if it was sewn haphazardly not accounting for matching the pattern in the back. ~ Hi James, We're really sorry you weren't fully satisfied with your purchase. We try our best to match them up but with how the material is cut sometimes it isn't perfectly matched up. We understand this is not always ideal for everyone. Prior to this purchase I have only made purchases of hats for the men in my family. I found out that SK made items for woman. I settled on the Swallowtail Jacket because I live in Leelanau County, MI and it gets cold and windy here in Empire near Lake MI. I needed as short warm Jacket and this appeared to fit the bill. I’m 72 and wanted something attractive warm and practical. This jacket is absolutely great, I did order a size up, glad I did as wool does not have a lot of give. This Jacket is warm, stylish, practical and exceptionally well crafted. Worth every penny. You get what you pay for and SK is 100% quality!

I bought this jacket (portobello) a year ago. I can’t begin to tell you how many complements I’ve received. I walk daily and usually wear this jacket. It is so warm and I love it that my backside stays toasty! You won’t be disappointed.

Live in Arkansas and this will work for the entire winter. It's a terrific, roomy jacket and is super warm without making me feel constricted. Love made in the USA and I bought this at the factory. It is pricey, but I love that this company invests in it's people and the people of Ironwood, MI.
