This jacket literally saved my dogs life. We lost our German short-haired pointer in the upper peninsula of Michigan in the middle of winter. He was alone in the woods for 3 days and nights in single digit weather before he was found alive and well. no doubt this coat aided in his survival! Best Christmas gift we got this year from my parents. A+++ product-warm and protectant against sharp objects (barbed wire, thorns, etc) thank you SK and all the "yoopers" that searched and rescued our family member! ~~ We're so happy your pup was found and in good health! The jacket is one of the easiest jackets I've ever purchased. It's a snap to put on and take off. Super simple

My dog needed a lightweight water resistant coat for damp days but I didn’t want a heavy fleece or insulated garment as we do live in a warmer climate but with mild winters. Worked with customer service to get the right fit and I’m confident that the waxed cotton will keep the snow off his fur and also be resistant to the cactus and desert plants that we encounter on our hikes. I ordered a large as he is in between sizes so it’s a bit long, but otherwise this seems to be well suited for keeping the wind and light rain/snow off his body. Customer service was outstanding as representative was able to physically handle the product and answer my questions.

Overall great product. Slot for D ring should be 2" Front Velcro 2"s longer across crest.
