I looked at a dog coatr for my Black Lab. Not that he needs one, but to match my new Stormy plaid hat or my classic Carhartt jacket. Liked the Carhartt dog jacket, but chose the Stormy because of the uniqueness. Disappointed at the lack of insulation and density of the fabric. The Carhartt was quilted with its durable duck canvas.... and 5 bucks cheaper at Cabela's

Quality seems to be fine, its just a basic flannel jacket for my dog. I'm a bit bummed though because its too large for him. I just double checked the size chart, and the size chart says he should be an XL. However even with the velcro as tight as it can go its still loose on him and the belly strip hangs down just enough that there is a good chance he'll pee on it. For some reason they have you measure the biggest part of the dog's chest, but that isn't where the belly band goes, so I'm not sure why you would measure there.. I guess I can just say that for my dog this runs large, and you should be careful about the sizing for your dog.. The return policy says I can't return it once the dog has worn it, so I guess I'm stuck. I'll just re-sew it if I can.
