  • We recommend measuring your child's head for the best fit. While our sizes are labeled Newborn, Infant, Toddler, and Child as a general guide, children's head sizes can vary quite a bit. Measure your child's head where the cap will sit, divide that measurement by 3.14 (π), then round up to the nearest 1/8 to determine the correct hat size.

  • The Lil' Stormy Kromer Cap is designed for cool-weather adventures and everyday wear. While it provides light warmth, it isn't intended as a heavily insulated winter hat. Its biggest appeal is giving kids their own Stormy Kromer to match Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, or another favorite grown-up.

  • No. The Lil' Stormy Kromer Cap is lined with soft cotton flannel, and the sweatband is made from a comfortable polycotton blend. The wool outer shell provides warmth and durability, while the materials against your child's skin are designed for everyday comfort.

  • The earband moves up and down like our adult caps, but because of the smaller size, it's attached differently. It adds to the classic Stormy Kromer look but isn't designed to provide significant ear coverage or protection in harsh winter weather.

  • Dry cleaning is the best way to care for your Lil' Stormy Kromer Cap. For small spills or stains, spot cleaning is often enough. If your cap gets wet from rain or snow, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never put your wool cap in the dryer, as the heat can cause it to shrink.

    This cap is adorable. I bought it for my 1 year old great nephew and can’t wait to see him iIt. It should keep his little head warm and he will be oh so stylish!

    Our little guy Oliver recieved the Lil' Kromer cap as a gift from his grandma and grandpa. He is now 10 months and we have it on him everywhere we go. It keeps his little head nice and warm no matter what temperature it is. Everywhere we go people always comment on how much they love the hat. We loved his hat so much my husband and I went out and bought our own! -Little Oliver

    We bought one for our son a few years ago & he loved having a hat just like daddy's. We were always getting stopped by people to tell us how adorable he looked. I loved how comfortable it was for him to wear & kept his head very warm. We can't wait to get a pink one for our daughter this year! I also love that they are made in the USA!! -MTCwgrl

    My youngest daughter bought her niece (my first grandbaby) the Lil Kromer in pink. Knowing me and the baby are real buddies, my daughter thought it a great idea to outfit her niece with a Kromer like grandpa's. Though it was summer, we had to get a pic of the two of us in our Kromers right away. To date, it's my favorite picture of me with my granddaughter. -Ole Pa

    I bought my daughter, Kaylee, a Lil' Kromer cap in pink last year when she was just 7 months old. She instantly became the "belle of the ball" any time we were around any of her uncles, great uncles or grandpas who have all lived in the ranching world all their lives and trusted Stormy Kromer caps to keep their own heads warm for as long as any of us can remember.
