  • We recommend measuring your child's head for the best fit. While our sizes are labeled Newborn, Infant, Toddler, and Child as a general guide, children's head sizes can vary quite a bit. Measure your child's head where the cap will sit, divide that measurement by 3.14 (π), then round up to the nearest 1/8 to determine the correct hat size.

  • The Lil' Stormy Kromer Cap is designed for cool-weather adventures and everyday wear. While it provides light warmth, it isn't intended as a heavily insulated winter hat. Its biggest appeal is giving kids their own Stormy Kromer to match Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Grandma, or another favorite grown-up.

  • No. The Lil' Stormy Kromer Cap is lined with soft cotton flannel, and the sweatband is made from a comfortable polycotton blend. The wool outer shell provides warmth and durability, while the materials against your child's skin are designed for everyday comfort.

  • The earband moves up and down like our adult caps, but because of the smaller size, it's attached differently. It adds to the classic Stormy Kromer look but isn't designed to provide significant ear coverage or protection in harsh winter weather.

  • Dry cleaning is the best way to care for your Lil' Stormy Kromer Cap. For small spills or stains, spot cleaning is often enough. If your cap gets wet from rain or snow, let it air dry naturally away from direct heat or sunlight. Never put your wool cap in the dryer, as the heat can cause it to shrink.

    I bought the hat for my grandson he loves to wear his daddy’s. Either I messed up on my address or auto fill did, when I discovered it, wasn’t sure how to handle it. Before I could even start to look to see how, you called got the address changed and had it in a few days. That’s customer service like I’ve not had in years!!! Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!!!

    It doesn’t actually have the ear flaps to keep you children’s ears warm. I have the adult version and assumed it would be just the same but it is not. Just an expensive waste of money that won’t do anything to keep you kids ears warm. ~~Sorry to hear the cap wasn't what you expected. All of the Lil' caps do have workable ear flaps. You can always return the cap for a refund - give our customer service team a call for assistance in the return. Call them at 888-455-2253. SK~~

    It took 15 business days to receive the hat. Very disappointing on service and how the hat does not fit a child’s head! ~~ Sorry to hear the cap doesn't fit like expected. Depending on the age and size of the childs head, an adult size might have been a better option. You can always return for a refund within 90 days of purchase. Checking on the shipping, it looks like the USPS had it going all over the country - this is not typical. If you want to return your cap, please give our customer service a call at 888-455-2253 and they will be able to help you. SK ~~
