The Ida Kromer® Cap

I got my Mapleberry Ida Kromer hat today, LOVE IT!!! It is very flattering and has beautiful colors. I agree with some of the other reviews that the ear flappers could be made of thicker fabric for more warmth. I must point out though, that the sizes seem to run a little small. I wear a 7 1/8 cowboy hat and I ordered a 7 1/4 (one size larger than I normally wear, just in case) and it just barely fit. My advice: consider ordering one size bigger than you normally wear. Also, the shipping cost ($7.99) was pretty darn high, the post office lady told me it only cost like $2.75 to ship. -Heather in MT

I have this in the raspberry color...it is so cute! I absolutely love it. However, there is really no way to cover my ears all the way. I notice in looking online that there aren't many options for anything to cover the ears...please work on this! I really enjoy Stormy Kromer and supporting a local company, but help me keep my ears warm! :) -Kayla

Got the hat cuz it is good looking, made of wool, and will cover my ears on cold days. The hat itself is nice and warm but the ear flaps are too thin and don't keep out the cold! Please make them thicker next year! -Rosemary

I purchased the winter white cap a year ago. It comes in sizes - a big plus, it keeps my head warm - a big plus plus, and it looks great. If you wear this hat be prepared for compliments. And questions - "where did you get that cool hat?" This year I will try the brimless. -CARAH

It is the first day in October, I am a Thumbbie (Michigan's Thumb Area). This hat fits well, but in all functionality failed me miserably. The ear flaps cover about 3/4 of the ear, and is engineered perfectly so every little draft goes right into your ear canal. It is basically a fine summer hat, or for winter weather, maybe Georgia. -Debby

My husband and I were at wild game expo and a Kromer dealer was there. I first saw the men's hats and was completely impressed and then farther down the table were the Ida's! Having a very small head I usually have to settle for small men's hats that are too large or kids hats that are just that ...for kids! It is the best hat I have ever owned..fits, cute, good brim length, warranty. I do not know what rock I have been under all these years, but Kromer has a new devoted fan! -bunnybluff

A birthday gift from my grandpa, who has had two caps, before they were cool. I love it! I have it in raspberry, and the dark brown trim makes it the perfect accessory. So many compliments. -Hahmom
