The Ida Kromer® Cap

Really a super adorable hat, love the color and style. However, I did the measurements as directed and the cap is pretty snug. I even went up to the next measurement as suggested. This is my first time to order or truly even know Stormer Kromer hats existed. I was looking for a "hunter orange" hat and something different than the norm. Thought I could use the pink, but, as of right now I do not believe Alabama will allow this in the field as of yet. Still love the color and would like to keep, just afraid, since this is not an adjustable hat, that if I go up to another size, it will be too big??? ~~ The way someone likes their hat to fit is very personal, so a suggestion would be not to pull the tape measure too tight around your head when measuring - make it comfortable for you. Love my Pink Cap! Fits perfect and is so warm. I don't usually like to wear hats but wear this one a lot! I love wearing it with the flaps down.

I already have an Ida Kromer in deep pink. I tend to wear it with my bright orange fleece jacket, and yeah, I get some comments, especially when I have my purple purse over my shoulder. When I just happened to see that now this cap comes in a bright orange, I thought to myself "Self, you can match that with your jacket!". I also used this as an experiment in sizing, as I sometimes think my pink cap (7) is a little too small. I have trouble getting the ear flaps down. I bought this cap in a 7 1/4 and yes, I can get the flaps down much easier but I miss the really snug fit, which has now sent me back for a third Ida Kromer (back to 7), which then made me believe I may need one in every color. (Kidding. Sort of.) These comments are for those who wonder about sizing. That quarter inch makes quite the difference, amazingly, so pay attention. to the charts Bottom line is that I love these caps. They're very well made, they seem to last forever, and I love that they're made in my home state of Michigan.

I've worn my winter white Ida Kromer for a couple years and love it! I get compliments whenever I wear it. I wore it to the Thankgiving Day Packer/Bears game and it rained the entire time we were at the game. My Ida Kromer was completely soaked and it was windy and cold that night but my head stayed warm!! It took two days to air dry and still looks like new! Thank you for creating such a beautiful functional warm hat!

Got a raspberry Ida Kromer for Christmas. Love the color and the contrasting black lace tie! Don't usually wear anything on my head but headbands, but it was comfortable and it kept my head warm while out walking in below zero temps on New Years Day. Just wish the ear flaps would come down a little further to completely cover my ears. Will definitely be wearing it all winter season. -Shelley
