The Flannel Shirt

Try to support great companies like SK. Almost purchased this shirt until I saw it’s manufactured in Honduras. A hard ‘NO’ for my hard earned dollars. ~We hear your concern. Typically we can find partners here in the US – and we always start our search domestically –but we have struggled over the past several years to find a partner that meets our quality standards with these kinds of shirts. We expanded our search and found outstanding quality with a family-owned company in Honduras. We are sorry to hear that you decided not to purchase a shirt to see and feel the quality work they produce. SK~

My mother in law had given me the red flannel shirt several years ago and I loved it so I bought the green one. The shirt material is different but still good. I don't like the red tag in the front though (my red shirt did not have it) since it is quite prominent and doesn't match the shirt.

Overall the shirt itself is great. Got it, wash and dried it, and put it on. Great weight, great fit. The one thing I hate is the bright red obnoxious logo on the pocket. I understand the importance of branding and marketing but I don’t want to be a part of it and the red logo really detracts from the overall look of the shirt. If you are going to place them on your products can’t you at least try and find colors that complement your garments? Will not buy again if the logos remain the same. ~~ Sorry to hear you are not hapy with out branding on the flannel shirt. I will let our design team know of your suggestions. SK ~~

So far no shrinkage. I cold wash, hanger dry.

Bought one for my son last Christmas and it is now his favorite shirt! Washes well, very soft, and warm too. He will be getting more for this Christmas!!

HIGH QUALITY AND STILL MADE IN THE USA.

I have purchased other Stormy Kromer Flannels in the past and they are my favorite. This year I bought another (online) and the fit is much smaller especially through the shoulders and arms. The material is also thinner than my other SK flannels. I am returning for an exchange, but won't buy another SK flannel again. ~ Sorry to hear that the Flannel shirt doesn't fit as you expected. We are now using a fabric that is actually denser and heavier, but less lofty. You can always return your shirt within 90 days. I bought this shirt last year. Excellent. Heavier than any shirt I have ever had. And the best thing is that the arms do not shrink. I also bought the lined flannel - excellent as well. I also bought the Mackinac Coat when it first came out. If it says Story Kromer and made in the USA you will get the best outdoor field clothing. Beats Orvis and as good as Filson. keep up the great work Bob

Great quality and color. Only disappointment is size. I regularly wear 2XLT size, and the my son's 2X S/K Mackinaw coat fits me well, so I figured a 3X in this shirt would be roomy - but it's actually quite snug. I will be keeping it, but wishing it was a bit bigger and longer.
